Work on the collapsed section of 42-inch corrugated metal stormwater sewer that has caused lane closures this week on Hanley Road, directly south of Manchester Road, has been completed.
Work on the collapsed section of 42-inch corrugated metal stormwater sewer that has caused lane closures this week on Hanley Road, directly south of Manchester Road, has been completed. Work to repair the roadway itself will take place Thursday evening and Friday morning. Thus, all lanes of Hanley Road are scheduled to fully reopen by Friday afternoon’s rush hour. Until then, the northbound curbside lane of Hanley Road remains closed.
Work on other sections of the sewer and further work on the roadway itself will be required in coming weeks. However, lane closures will be minimal and will only take place between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
