Beginning at 7am on Wednesday, August 3, the right lane of north bound Dougherty Ferry Road will be closed, north of Big Bend Road near Valley Park, Missouri so that contracted crews with the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District (MSD) can work on the existing sewer main.
The MSD contractor will be doing Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) lining work along Dougherty Ferry Road and within the Dougherty Lake Estates subdivision. A by-pass pump will be installed along Dougherty Ferry Road, while crews do the CIPP lining work.
The closure is expected to last for approximately five weeks. Traffic message boards have been placed in the area guiding drivers to alternate routes.
