Thanks to everyone who participated in our May 14 Cash and Carry Rain Barrel Sale! If you missed out, good news: we’re having another one!
The next MSD Cash and Carry Rain Barrel Sale will be Saturday, June 18, from 8a to noon at our Sulphur Maintenance Yard. The yard is located at 1900 Sulphur Avenue, at I-44 and Hampton Avenue in south St. Louis. The cost is $65 per barrel. Only cash and checks will be accepted for payment. All sales are final and no refunds will be given.
The rain barrel is 55 gallons, 48 inches tall and 24 inches wide. The rain barrel is made from recycled, food grade plastic. To qualify for the MSD rain barrel purchase, you must be a MSD customer who is current on their sewer bill. Those who live outside MSD’s service area and those who are delinquent on their MSD bill do not qualify. Customers must bring a copy of their photo ID to the sale.
A kit and detailed instructions on how to assemble and install the rain barrels will be included with the purchase. Customers will not receive any discounts on their MSD bills for purchasing and installing rain barrels.
