MSD has named Rich Unverferth as its Director of Engineering. Unverferth will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of MSD’s ongoing multi-billion dollar, multi-decade capital program. He has worked at MSD for over 26 years in various positions, including Assistant Director of Engineering, Program Manager, Associate Director of Maintenance/Technical Division, Civil Engineer and Assistant Engineer.
Unverferth replaces Brian Hoelscher, who was recently named as MSD’s executive director.
Unverferth earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla and is a professional registered engineer in Missouri. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA), and the Engineers Club of St. Louis.
