MSD has been selected to receive a Gold Excellence in Management Recognition Award from the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA). The Excellence in Management Recognition Award recognizes agencies that have implemented successful programs that address the range of management challenges faced by public clean water utilities in today’s competitive environment. MSD’s winning application highlighted the organization’s efforts in the following areas: product quality, financial viability, customer satisfaction, employee and leadership development, operational optimization, community sustainability, stakeholder understanding and support, energy management, water resources recycling and stormwater management, and pretreatment.
