Each year, the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) presents the Peak Performance Awards to those member facilities that achieve outstanding performance in treatment plant operations.
We are happy to report that all seven of MSD's plans received Peak Performance Awards for 2009. Gold awards are presented to facilities that have achieved perfect compliance. MSD has four facilities receiving Gold awards: Bissell Point, Missouri River, Fenton and Lower Meramec.
Silver awards are presented to facilities that have five or fewer violations. MSD facilities that received Silver awards are Lemay, Coldwater and Grand Glaize.
