Beginning at 8am on Saturday, March 7th, the southbound lanes of Hanley Road will be shut down near the intersection of Kingsbury Boulevard so that contracted crews with the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District (MSD) can repair a broken sewer line.
The construction is a part of an ongoing effort to rehabilitate approximately 25 miles of sewer varying in size from 6-inch to 30-inch. This particular line that is being repaired is 8-inches.
The closure is expected to be short term as the southbound lanes of Hanley Road should reopen Saturday evening. Signs will be placed in the area guiding drivers to alternate routes.
