Clean up is underway on Dryden Court and surrounding areas in North St. Louis, as crews work to help residents return to their homes after the June 25 storms that devastated the area. Hundreds of workers are on hand to complete the first phase of recovery. Crews plan to work all weekend, and early projections are that the first phase of clean up will be completed next week. The first phase of the clean up efforts includes drying out homes, tearing out dry wall and cleaning. This work is being done in preparation for the restoration work needed so residents can move back into their homes. Large loss mobile command centers used to clean up after recent storms in Joplin and southern Illinois are on-site in the affected areas to assist with the clean up.
