Historically old sewers crumble as giant sinkhole stirs St. Louis concern

Construction crews arrived Monday with heavy equipment at the site where tons of crumbling brick collapsed into the sewer system below, creating a 20-foot-deep cavity that has drawn crowds of onlookers despite the obvious danger.
