St. Louis sinkhole fixes coming, as are the mayor jokes: ‘Cara, grab a shovel’

A contractor had been hired to address the hole taking up an entire lane on Cass Avenue, northwest of downtown. She couldn’t guarantee a date when things would be fixed, but she said equipment arrived Monday and more activity would follow.
