Canterbury and Roland Sanitary Relief (Nelson Dr to Roland Blvd) (#12110)

As part of a long-term effort to reduce basement backups, sewer overflows, and to improve creek bank stabilization, MSD Project Clear is designing a project to replace approximately 1,682 feet of sewer and stabilizing approximately 680 feet of a natural creek in the Cities of Pasadena Hills and Northwoods. The project is estimated to begin construction in the Spring of 2022.

Park Drive Sanitary Relief (12163)

As part of a long-term effort to reduce basement backups and sewer overflows, MSD Project Clear is replacing approximately 2,300 feet of sewer in the City of Pagedale near St. Vincent County Park.

Bellefontaine #2 Sanitary Relief

As part of a long-term effort to reduce basement backups and sewer overflows, MSD Project Clear is replacing approximately 3,500 feet of sewer in the City of Bellefontaine Neighbors. MSD Project Clear will increase the size of the wastewater sewer which will reduce basement backups and prevent sewer overflows in this area.

Creve Coeur Creek Trunk Sewer

The Creve Coeur Creek Trunk Sewer project will alleviate basement backups and sewer overflows along Creve Coeur Creek in southeast Chesterfield. Improvements include replacement of older smaller wastewater pipes with new larger pipes in order to increase the capacity of the wastewater system between Baxter and Schoettler.

Deer Creek Sanitary Tunnel

Extending approximately 3.9 miles from Clayton Road to Interstate 44, the new tunnel will collect and temporarily store peak wastewater overflows along the Deer Creek sewer system.

Jefferson Barracks Tunnel

Designed to address sewer overflows in the Lemay/South St. Louis County area, the Jefferson Barracks Tunnel will extend from just south of I-255 at Koch Road to the Lemay Wastewater Treatment Plant at the confluence of the River des Peres and the Mississippi River.

Maline Creek Storage Facility

Maline Creek is a small tributary that runs along the northern edge of the City of St. Louis and empties into the Mississippi River.
