MSD may ask voters for more stormwater money

The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District wants to ask voters in St. Louis and St. Louis County to fund more stormwater projects.

MSD Executive Director Brian Hoelscher told contractors at a district event Monday that MSD plans to present a proposal to its rate commission early next year. The measure, which would likely go to voters in early 2019, would fund stormwater capital improvements, including creek bank stabilization and other issues caused by heavy rainfall.
