MSD Project Clear Launches New Virtual Tour of Deer Creek Tunnel Pump Station

We are excited to announce that our virtual tour of Deer Creek Tunnel Pump Station is now live on our website. This immersive online tour provides viewers with a behind the scenes look at infrastructure our customers otherwise don’t get to see, but that is improving water quality and public health within the St. Louis region.

The Deer Creek Tunnel Pump Station operates the Deer Creek Tunnel, which stores and transports wastewater for treatment. The Deer Creek Tunnel is a 19-foot diameter tunnel, 200 feet underground, that runs 4.3 miles from Clayton to Shrewsbury. It can hold approximately 40 million gallons of wastewater.

Key highlights from the tour include:
• Take a step inside our tunnel through a 360-degree video, giving you a rare look into how our infrastructure runs.
• This virtual tour is compatible with almost any connected device, including PCs, Macs, tablets, phones and VR goggles.
• Just click or tap to move forward, or click and drag with your mouse or swipe with your finger to enjoy a 360-degree view.

We encourage you to visit the link to explore the virtual tunnel tour and learn more about the Deer Creek Tunnel Pump Station. You can also explore more tunnels and treatment plants at msdprojectclear.org/virtual-tours/.

We are grateful for your continued support and partnership, and we look forward to sharing more virtual tour opportunities with you in the future!
