Shop Drawing Review Process

Shop drawings are required for all MSD-permitted BMPs prior to construction, and should be reviewed and approved by the design engineer prior to submittal to MSD. Examples of BMP components that need shop drawing review by MSD include sand and gravel gradations, geotextile fabric, underdrain pipe, bioretention soil media gradation and composition, plant lists, permeable pavements, and structural BMP submittal sheets. Shop drawings should be sent to the attention of the Development Inspection Division Inspector. Submittals may be faxed to (314) 768-6342 or mailed to:
